Clear evidence that God hears all prayers, even mine. Yes it took centuries but at last, a lovable, cosy cafe opened in the mainly residential Vinohrady, and literally round the corner from my place at that. I came to celebrate this milestone right after they opened and never stopped celebrating since. There always somehow seems to be a good reason to pop by – be it their yummy breakfasts (pancakes with creme fraiche and maple syrup on a Sunday morning, anyone?) or absolutely great coffee ranging from Coffee Source classics up to vacuum pots, drip cones and whatnot. Add to that a wonderfully tasteful, airy and light design, smokefree environment, a peaceful little terrace and live piano on Fridays and you’ll understand why I refuse to ever move out.
